What is the equation of the line, in point -slope form, that passes through the given point and has the given slope point: (11,3); slope: 4/11

A. y-3=4/11(x+11)
B. y-3=4/11(x-11)
C. y-3=-4/11(x-11)
D. y-11=4/11(x-3)

I think it is A or B...just a lil confused. leaning towards B

ok so then B is right...

sorry, I can't erase questions, or even posts. And anyway, who knows, someone else might find the discussion useful.

and me lol. thx

Like ME! Thanks guys

true thanks

well, you have

y-3 = 4/11 (x-11)

(A) would be the line through (-11,3)

Remember, it's

y-k = m(x-h)

steve will you erase this question - I marked B
