I wouldn't choose to vacation in Denver in April. It's too warm to ski and too cold to enjoy most outdoor activities.

To find the mean, median, mode, and range of the average low temperatures in Denver for the month of April, we need to calculate these statistical measures:

1. Mean: To find the mean, add up all the average low temperatures and divide by the total number of temperatures. In this case, there are 30 temperatures. Adding up all the average low temperatures (from April 1 to April 30) gives us a sum of 972°F. Dividing this sum by 30 gives us a mean of 32.4°F.

2. Median: To find the median, arrange the average low temperatures in ascending order and find the middle value. In this case, since we have an even number of temperatures, we take the average of the two middle values. The middle two values are 34°F and 34°F, so the median is (34 + 34)/2 = 34°F.

3. Mode: The mode is the value that appears most frequently. In this case, the average low temperature that appears most often is 34°F, so the mode is 34°F.

4. Range: To find the range, subtract the smallest value from the largest value. In this case, the smallest average low temperature is 32°F and the largest average low temperature is 40°F. So the range is 40 - 32 = 8°F.

Using the same approach, we can answer questions 2, 3, and 4 to find the mean, median, mode, and range of the average high temperatures, record low temperatures, and record high temperatures respectively.

Now moving on to question 5, on the night of April 29th, we would not expect the temperature to drop below freezing (32°F). This is because the average low temperature for April 29th is 40°F, which is above freezing. While the record low for April 29th is 13°F, records are exceptional occurrences and not representative of the typical weather.

In the final paragraph, we will address questions 6a, 6b, 6c, and 6d.

a. The information in this chart that gives the most accurate picture of the temperature in Denver in April is the average low and average high temperatures. These values represent the typical range of temperatures experienced in April, providing a good understanding of what to expect on an average day.

b. The information in this chart that does not help determine the typical temperature in Denver in April is the record low and record high temperatures. These values represent extreme occurrences and are not representative of the usual weather conditions.

c. If explaining to a friend, I would provide them with the average low and average high temperatures for April. These values give a good indication of the typical temperature range your friend can expect in Denver during that month. I would also mention that these values may vary on certain days, but on average, they represent the temperature range for April.

d. Based on the temperature information, vacationing in Denver in April would depend on personal preferences. The average low and average high temperatures indicate that April can have fluctuating weather, ranging from around freezing to the mid-60s. Some people might enjoy the variability, while others may prefer more consistent or warmer temperatures. It would be a good idea to consider personal preferences and activities planned during the trip before making a decision.
