Show that these three points , P(8,3), Q(3,4),R(6,7), Form a right angled triangle and name the right angle?
There are two ways of doing this:
1) determine the slopes for all lines, and the pair that have a right angle will have a negative inverse slope.
2) determine the distances PQ, QR, and RP. If any one distance squared is equal to the sum of the other distances squared, it is a right triangle.
If needed, I will be happy to critique your thinking or work.
thats the stuff!
Thank you very much.
Ok i'll get working on that.
ok i need some more help,
This is what i have done:
Mpq = y2y1
_____
x2x1
43
____
3(8)
= 1/5

Mqr = y2y1
_____
x2x1
= 7 3
______
8(8)
=  11
____
3
= 3.6

Mpq = y2y1
_____
x2x1
= 73
______
6(8)
= 10
______
2
= 5

Ok that's the gradents of all 3 sides,
How do i Form a Right angled triangle and name the right angle?
Thanks for the help!
Show that these three points , P(8,3), Q(3,4),R(6,7), Form a right angled triangle and name the right angle?
Look one line you have has a slope of 5, and another line has slope of 1/5.
They are at right angles...
So the right angle must be..the common point of those two lines. I don't follow your notation on the Mpq, but you can figure it from here.
whats is a quartile, and what does a quadratic sequence mean and do?
Do you know any websites that gives you step by step instructions on particular questions on trig and circles that you can't answer?
How do you slove word problems regarding slopes?
