  1. No, I did it with similar triangles. Both triangles have same angles, you are given the bases of both triangles (7, 99) and the height of the smaller 6

    height/base=heightclift/basetocliff

    reread: the 99 ft is from the point on the base of the horizontal to the bottom of the clift.
