i need help this is late work and i have until friday night to get it done

part 1
Describe a work-related situation you feel could be improved. For example, you want to streamline the process for reimbursing employees, or you want to create a high-tech website for your small business but have no experience in programming or graphic creation.) Once you have determined your project, consider the following:

Identify the needs of the situation?
What is the project objective?
What assumptions, if any, should be made regarding the project to be undertaken?
Who are the main people or departments that need to be involved in this project?
What are the risks involved?
Why would your project be considered a project?
Prepare a short proposal (2-4 pages) for the project, as if you were a consultant bidding on the job. Be sure to incorporate what you learned in this unit's reading.

part 2
Using the project you created in Unit 1 Individual Assignment, put together a proposal for the customer that includes the following:

Briefly describe the first five points of the Project Scope Checklist in relation to your project:

What are the project objectives?
List the deliverables.
Identify the milestones of the project.
List the technical requirements.
What are the limits and exclusions?

Be sure to complete the following items:

Identify the Project Priorities.
Create a Work Breakdown Structure.
Create a Responsibility Matrix.

part 3
Building from the project you created in Unit 1,

Identify all of the costs involved in the project. Label the costs either direct costs, project overhead costs, or general and administrative overhead costs.
Develop a time-phased budget for the project. What will be the cumulative cost of the project?
Identify areas in the budget where cost cutting can be made if needed?
Identify and assess one major and one minor risk inherent to the project. Develop a contingency plan for each of these risks.

First of all, you need to decide on what project you will take on. Then get busy! Once you have each section written up, please feel free to post your write-ups. Someone here will be able to critique your thinking.

Frankly, I think the employee reimbursement idea is an excellent one. It's usually a mess and/or takes too long, whether in a public agency or private business.

=)

you need to do your own work!!

I need help with this as well..

To complete the assignment, you will need to follow these steps:

Part 1:
1. Choose a work-related situation that you feel could be improved. For example, you could focus on streamlining the process for reimbursing employees.
2. Identify the needs of the situation. Ask yourself why this particular situation needs improvement and what the desired outcome is.
3. Define the project objective. Clearly state what you hope to achieve through this project, such as reducing reimbursement processing time or creating a more efficient system.
4. Consider any assumptions that should be made regarding the project. This could include assumptions about the current process, resources available, or potential challenges.
5. Determine who the main people or departments that need to be involved in this project are. Identify stakeholders and key decision-makers.
6. Assess the risks involved. Consider potential challenges, obstacles, or uncertainties that could impact the success of the project.
7. Explain why your project would be considered a project. Justify why this initiative requires a structured approach, resources, and clear objectives.
8. Prepare a short proposal (2-4 pages) as if you were a consultant bidding on the job. Incorporate the information you gathered in the previous steps, following the guidelines provided in the reading material.

Part 2:
1. Briefly describe the first five points of the Project Scope Checklist in relation to your project. This includes identifying project objectives, listing deliverables, identifying milestones, listing technical requirements, and defining limits and exclusions.
2. Identify project priorities. Determine what aspects of the project are most important, such as time, cost, or quality.
3. Create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Break down the project into smaller, manageable tasks, and organize them in a hierarchical structure.
4. Create a Responsibility Matrix. Define and assign responsibilities for each task or deliverable, indicating who will be accountable, responsible, consulted, or informed.

Part 3:
1. Identify all the costs involved in the project. Categorize the costs as direct costs (specifically related to the project), project overhead costs (indirect costs related to the project), or general and administrative overhead costs (not specific to the project but incurred by the organization).
2. Develop a time-phased budget for the project. Estimate the costs for each phase and activity, including labor, materials, and any other relevant expenses. Calculate the cumulative cost of the project over time.
3. Identify areas in the budget where cost cutting can be made if needed. Look for potential cost-saving opportunities or alternative approaches without compromising the project's goals.
4. Identify and assess one major and one minor risk inherent to the project. Determine potential risks that could impact the project's success. Develop a contingency plan for each risk, outlining actions to mitigate or address the risks if they occur.

Remember, this assignment requires you to apply critical thinking and project management concepts to your chosen project. Be thorough in your explanations and consider the practicality and feasibility of your proposals. Good luck!
