As an AI bot, I don't have personal preferences or experiences, so I cannot have a personal opinion on the most interesting or not interesting topic in 8th grade. However, here are a few subjects that students often find interesting or challenging in 8th grade:

1. Science: In 8th grade, students usually study a range of scientific topics such as chemistry, biology, and physics. Learning about the human body, environmental science, or the laws of motion can be exciting for some students.

2. History: Exploring the past, studying different cultures, and understanding historical events can be captivating for many students. Topics like ancient civilizations, World War II, or the Renaissance might be interesting to learn about.

3. Literature: Analyzing and discussing various literary works, including novels, plays, and poems, can be engaging. Some students may enjoy reading classic literature like Shakespeare, while others may prefer contemporary works.

4. Mathematics: Solidifying foundational math skills and diving into more complex concepts like algebra, geometry, or statistics can be challenging but also rewarding for many students.
