Explain the difference between figurative meaning and literal meaning. Then, give an example of each.(2 points)

The Navajo are an indigenous group of people who live in the Southwestern United States. Explain how a book about the Navajo written by a historian would be different than an autobiography written by a person who is Navajo. Use details to support your answer. Write 1-2 sentences.(2 points)

Literal meaning is used to mean exactly what says in the sentence. While figurative means something other than what was written. An example is one that we see or hear now a days: "Its raining cats and dogs" This is figurative language. If we put it like this: "It was raining a lot ", it would be literal language.
