Both are composed of gases.

4. At certain times of the year, four planets can be seen from Earth, including Mars and(1 point)

Neptune.

Juno.

Saturn.***

Uranus.

5. What caused people to accept the geocentric model of the universe?(1 point)

Objects seem to move across the sky, and Earth did not feel like it was moving.***

Telescopes allowed for a much detailed view of the circular orbits of the planets.

Noticing the gravity will eventually pull all the planets and the universe back together.

Measurements and mathematical models demonstrated that the planets orbit around the sun.

6. Which ideas describe the big crunch?(1 point)

The universe is not only composed of the objects that we can see.

The universe goes through infinite cycles of expansion and contraction.

The big bang actually never occurred, and the universe must have a different origin.

After the universe reaches its expansion limit, gravity will pull it all back together.***

7. Use the excerpt from an online article to answer the question.

9. What triggered the cyclic model of the origin of the universe?(1 point)

Some scientists argue that the planets do not orbit in circles around the sun.

Some scientists began to use telescopes and mathematics to study the universe.

Some scientists found that the amount of radiation in space is not consistent with an explosion.

EXAM/TYPING PART
--
Q #11: In three to five sentences, briefly describe how the big bang theory explains the origin and evolution of the universe.
A #11: The big bang theory explained the origin of the universe through the hypothesis that everything in the universe came into existence at about the same time billions of years ago.
--
Q #12: In three to five sentences, evaluate the scientific evidence that supports the big bang theory and the steady state theory.
A #12: The big bang theory, is that the universe was created by an explosin that happened in space. Which is an extremely high temperature and high density resulted in expansion of the space after the universe cooled they said the elements were then formed.
--
Q #13: In one or two sentences, make a hypothesis about the movement of the galaxy and explain at least one way to test the hypothesis.
A #13: The milky way galaxy is the galaxy system that has over a hundred billion stars and it also includes the solar system. It is also referred to as galaxy and the milky way was described like that because that is it´s appearance when viewed from the earth.

2. A black hole.
3. Both orbit the sun.
4. Saturn
5. Noticing the gravity will eventually pull all the planets and the universe back together.
6. After the universe reaches its expansion limit, gravity will pull it all back together.

8. Big Bang Theory
9. Some scientists think that the universe will not keep expanding forever.

Yeah, I am also not sure for Number 9.

The other questions look right.

I think number 3, 7, and 9 are wrong. 3 is wrong because niversetoday.com/33006/what-is-the-difference-between-asteroids-and-comets/ says that they both orbit the sun. I think 7 is A and idk about 9. Anyways I am taking this test will give answers after I take it.

Can someone please help me! I don't have much time.

I remember in our lessons the cyclic model said something about the universe expanding but idk maybe im wrong

This sucks 🤮

Can anyone explain spectrum readings to me? Ive looked them up but i dont get it :(

im pretty sure 3 is wrong, comets and asteroids are made of rocks and stuff
