    eggs: 6/1 = 6 batches of cookies
    flour: 8/(2 1/4) = 32/9 = 3 5/9 batches
    so, looks like 3 batches are all you get

    afterwards, you will have
    8 - 3(2 1/4) = 1 1/4 c flour ; (1 1/4)/8 = 5/32 of the original amount
    6 - 3 = 3 eggs ; 3/6 = 1/2 the original amount
