I'm desperate for answers since I'm retaking this after I failed

This is an example of why some questions go unanswered.

The horrible text formatting just makes the eyes bleed.

Why don't you just type the fractions, like 4/9 and 3/4 ?
Nevertheless, you did post only a few, so here goes.
#1. 1/5 + 3/5 = 4/5
#2. When the denominators are all the same, you just need to work with the numerators. 3+2 = 5, so 3/8 + 2/8 = 5/8
#3. 11-3 = 8 and 8/16 = 1/2
#4. 7+9 = 16 and 16/10 = 1 6/10 = 1 3/5
#5. 4+2 = 6
#6. 3+2 = 5; any others?
#7. 3+5 = 8 and 8 > 7, so 8/7 > 1
any others?

Good job, Aesthetic Lollipop, your correct! %100

imma try oobleck's answers bc im making sure its right for you guys

To solve any problem like this, you take both top sides of the fraction and add them and leave the denominator alone, then you should have you answer.

1. 1/5 + 3/5 = 4/5

2. 3/8 + 2/8 = 5/8
3. 11/16 + 3/16 = 14/16
14 divided by 2 = 7
16 divided by 2 = 8
answer-7/8
4. 7/10 + 9/10 = 16/10
16 - 10 = 6
answer-1 & 6/10
try the rest on your own to get the hang of it!

Have a wonderful day! <3
