Which inverse operations could you use to solve the equation m/5 - 8 = -6? Select two answers

A. Add 8 to each side and then divide each side by 5.

***B. Add 8 to each side and then multiply each side by 5.

C. Multiply each side by 5 and then add 40 to each side.

D. Subtract 8 from each side and then multiply each side by 5.

***E. Multiply each side by 5 and then add 8 to each side.

It took a very long time, but here ya go!

1. B and C
2. 5
3. 1
4. D
5. Do it on your own
6. C
7. Do it on your own
8. D and E
9. Do it on your own
10. D
11. D
12. A and C
13. A is x< -2, B is x < 2, C is x> -2, and D is x > 2.
14. A
15. Do it on your own
Im pretty sure you guys already finished by now, but here are the answers still.

You are "undoing" the equation to get m all by itself... so you have to do BEDMAS in reverse... so the addition of 8 to both sides is first : )

b is correct : )

enderman0810 is right

also I appreciate the usage of "do it on your own" thanks king

Oh hey, it's Jaxx. I know you.

Why are there never answers to Math quizzes and tests, despite them being the hardest ones? Hmm.
Anywho, I'll just have to take the test and sacrifice myself to see what the answers are. Wish me luck. Be back in like an hour.

E is wrong. That gives you

m/5 - 8 = -6
m - 40 = 30
...

Yolkers thank you

how come Yolkers has not come back yet

yolkers?

WHAT HAPPENED!

COME BACK NOW!
