Jen has read 4/5 of a book. The net day she read 2/3 of what she had left. What fraction of the books is left to read?

4/5 x 2/3=
4/5 x3/2=
12/10=1 2/10=1 1/5
is this right

The teacher is correct. I would trust her.

It's very simple. 4/5 x 2/3= 8/15 8/15= 7 left 7/15 of the book is left.

Edit, I was wrong

Wrong still the answer is 7/15 because you have to do

5/5 -4/5=1/5
1/3 - 2/3
1x3/5x3 - 2x5/3x5
3/15 -10/15=7/15
you take your two fractions, in which you have to subtract, multipy them to make the denominators match and subtract them through.

Are you guys stupid?? The answer is 8/15 and it's very simple, 4/5 x 2/3 = 8/15 LOLLLLLLLL

YEAH OK LOLLLLL

No.

She can't have more than one book yet to read.

5/5 - 4/6 = 1 /5

1/5 * 1/3 = 1/15
