For your portfolio item, you will conduct research into the Progressive Era topic you selected, search for and download images associated with that topic, and create a Microsoft® PowerPoint presentation that includes SmartArt, Action buttons, slide transitions, text boxes, and animations. You will have the option to convert this presentation into a video that includes slide transitions and animations. You will submit the final presentation as a portfolio item.

If you consider this assignment all at once, yes, it becomes overwhelming, but if you take it step by step, you should be able to manage.

1. Research your Progressive Era topic: Click on one of the links they gave you to review one aspect of the Progressive Era. Read about your topic, taking notes on information to include in your presentation.

2. Search for and download images associated with that topic.

3. Make a Microsoft® PowerPoint presentation that includes SmartArt, Action buttons, slide transitions, text boxes, and animations.

4. You will submit the final presentation as a portfolio item.
