Just checking the first one. For the second, I saw that the incorrectly punctuated sentence is A. Why is this the case over B? (I know it's not C or D)

  1. For your second question, remember that titles of books, movies, plays, artwork, magazines, etc., need to be either underlined or in italics. A is the incorrectly punctuated sentence because of the quotation marks -- those are for items that can be published within something else: poems, song lyrics, magazine articles ...

    And I agree with you that A is the incorrectly punctuated sentence for the first question. There doesn't need to be a hyphen between "internal" and "combustion" since the first is an adjective modifying the noun.
