i know its long but can someone please check my answers

I have 8

so these were all wrong, I got 2/8
It's not their fault I probably have a different test
So for anyone in Connexus who has Graphing Linear Functions Quiz with 8 questions its:
C : –2
A : 2; distance increases by 2 miles per hour
B : -2/3; the amount of water decreases by 2 gallons every 3 minutes
B : -3/2
C : its a graph
C : its a graph
C : -2
B : 2

To clear up who's right "girl in red" is correct.

clear response for people who still need help.

btw this is for kids who are in connexus academy, algebra, unit 2 lesson 6, graphing linear functions quiz.

1. -2

holy crap! why don't you just type (-3,3) and -2/3 instead of all those words?

The line through (-3,3) and (1,-5) has slope -8/4 = -2
you should have plotted the two points, and you'd have seen that it slopes downward!

C is wrong. slope is y-change divided by x-change. You have it just backwards.

Did you graph the line for the tub? You could easily have seen that the volume decreased by 2 for every 3 hours, for a slope of -2/3. Why guess, when you have the graph? You really need to bone up on this stuff!

for the table, clearly y goes down 3 when x goes up 2, for a slope of -3/2

for #5, clearly, (-4,0) does not satisfy y = x/3 - 4

the line through (3,4) and (2,6) does not have slope 1. y goes up while x goes down.

The line through (–2, –1) and (2, –3) has slope -2/4 = -1/2
Two lines are perpendicular when their slopes are negative reciprocals. That is, their product is -1.
So, the line you want has slope 2

Serious study and/or some one-on-one help is evidently in need here.
