please help out 7. Figures that are Congruent or Similar just check if my answers are correct.

What is the correct way to classify the figures shown below?
Two triangles are shown.
Triangle A B C has edge A C measuring 4 units, edge B C measuring 6 units, and edge A B measuring 8 units. Angle A measures 75 degrees and Angle C measures 70 degrees.

Triangle D E F has edge D F measuring 12 units, edge E F measuring 18 units, and edge D E measuring 24 units. Angle D measures 75 degrees and Angle E measures 35 degrees.

A. similar
B. congruent******this one
C. neither

Which figure is congruent to the figure shown?

A pentagon with consecutive sides labeled 3, 5, 4, 4, and 5 is shown.

A. A five-sided shape is shown.A pentagon has five sides of three different lengths. Two adjacent sides are six units long, two opposite sides are 7.5 units, and the side between them is 4.5 units.
B.
C. A pentagon with consecutive sides labeled 3, 5, 4, 4, and 5 is shown.****this one

These are the correct answers I swear on all of the pop tarts I have (and i have like 30!)

1: A, similar
2: C
3: B, all congruent figures are also similar figures
4: B, 22.5
5: C, two equilateral triangles
There you go I hope that this really helps you!!!!!!!!!!!!

poptart queen is 100%! Tysm!

Answers:
1: A
2: C
3: B
4: B
5: C

The two triangles cannot be congruent since their sides are not identical.

They are similar if all their angles are identical, or their sides are all in the same ratio

The pentagon looks right

yes, congruent figures are also similar

B: 22.5 is correct

hexagons are not necessarily similar. Regular hexagons are, but that's not what they say here.

1.

Triangle ABC.
Triangle DEF.

AC/DF = 4/12 = 1/3.
BC/EF = 6/18 = 1/3.
AB/DE = 8/24 = 1/3.
So the ratio of corresponding sides are = 1/3.
If the triangles were congruent, the ratios would be I/1 = 1.

34+35 is 69.

OH-

c'mon i dont have time if not my grades will be FAIL

sooo umm yea 34+35
