If anybody needs a reference for theirs, here is mine. I suggest you do your own work and use mine as a outline in a way, good luck!

In the speech “I will fight no more longer”, it explains that the Indians were treated very badly by the US government. The Indians were thrown out of their native land, forcing them to go somewhere else. It’s stated that the Indians tried to fight back for their land, but failed. Also, the supplies that they had were not enough for all of them, therefore many Indians died along the way to the border of Canada. When the Indians were 40 miles away from the Canadian border, they were stopped by the US government and were forced to surrender. This evidence shows that the US government stole native land, and forced out the natives, along with terrible treatment towards the Indians.

Wow Writeacher don' tbe so rude =/

Thanks Aki

very helpful, thank you!! <33

Post a detailed response to the Trolley Discussion prompt. Then respond to two posts.

Major themes in literature often relate back to the idea of “good vs. evil.” For example, in novels you can often find a brave hero facing off against a wicked villain to teach the reader that being good and doing the right thing is what is best for society. These stories usually show the hero as being all good and the villain as being all bad, and the choice to do the right thing is always very clear. However, how does this apply to the real world?

The article, “A teen and a trolley reveal society’s dark side,” explores this debate. Examine the article and determine whether you believe that people can be completely good or whether you think there is a dark side to us all. Explain your reasoning.

in a paragraph, from the text and Chief Joseph’s speech, what can be said about the treatment of Native Americans during this time period? How might many Native Americans have felt? Do you think you would have agreed with Chief Joseph if you were one of the chiefs to whom he was speaking? Why or why not?

From Chief Joseph's speech, it is clear that Native Americans were treated unjustly and unfairly during this time period. They were forcibly removed from their land, which they had lived on for generations, and forced to relocate to unfamiliar and often harsh environments. The government's actions were both violent and inhumane, as many Native Americans were killed, and those who survived the relocation process suffered greatly.

Many Native Americans would have felt angry, betrayed, and helpless as a result of these actions. They had no recourse against the powerful government, and they were forced to watch as their culture and way of life were destroyed. The loss of their land was more than just a physical displacement; it resulted in a loss of identity and culture that would take generations to recover.

If I were one of the chiefs to whom Chief Joseph was speaking, I would have agreed with him completely. The injustice and mistreatment of Native Americans was clear, and I would have felt that it was my responsibility to speak out against it. While it may have been difficult to stand up against such powerful forces, I would have felt that it was necessary to fight for what was right and just. Additionally, I would have been inspired by Chief Joseph's passionate and eloquent words, and his determination to fight for his people's rights.

From Chief Joseph's speech, it is evident that Native Americans faced extreme injustice and mistreatment during this time period. The government forcibly removed them from their land, which they had inhabited for generations, and were subjected to harsh living conditions in unfamiliar territories. Many natives lost their lives during the relocation process or suffered greatly leading to deep anger, frustration, and helplessness among native people who had no power against the government's powerful forces. The loss of their land resulted in an identity and cultural loss that would be embedded in their existence for generations. Based on these circumstances, I would agree with Chief Joseph if one of the chiefs whom he was speaking to, fight for the people's rights to speak out against the injustice, and compel the government to address the issue and provide justifiable outcomes for the native Americans.
