C. Open; there is a varible

(12)Which equation is an Identity

A. 7 - (9x + 3) = -9x - 4
B. 6m - 5 = 7m +5 - m
C.10p + 6 - p = 12p - 3 (p - 2) *****
D. 3y + 2 = 3y - 2

(13)Which equation has no solution?

Answer is *****, if it is wrong can you tell me how to solve it, Thankyou

@mixikamo is wrong i got a 3/19! Please do not use their answers.

1) C

Other answers are correct.

Is this for the unit 3 lesson 9 test

- 4 y + 8 = 4 ( 2 y - 2 ) - 2 ( - 16 + 8 y )

- 4 y + 8 = 4 ∙ 2 y + 4 ∙ ( - 2 ) - 2 ∙ ( - 16 ) - 2 ∙ 8 y

- 4 y + 8 = 8 y - 8 + 32 - 16 y

- 4 y + 8 = 8 y - 16 y - 8 + 32

- 4 y + 8 = - 8 y + 24

Add 8y to both sides

- 4 y + 8 y + 8 = - 8 y + 8 y + 24

4 y + 8 = 24

Subtract 8 to both sides

4 y + 8 - 8 = 24 - 8

4 y = 16

y = 16 / 4 = 4

Thankyou, and can you explain to me how it is c

And i have one more question that i need help on

Solve the following equation.
-4y + 8 = 4 (2y - 2) -2 (-16 + 8y)

A. y= -4
B. y= 4
C. y= -2
D. y= -6

bruuh I'll post the answers when I finish the test lmao

help I just got a 9/19😭

Mathematical statements with one or more VARIABLES

are called open sentences.

In statement:

4y + 8 = 6y + 3

variable is y

I CANT FIND THE ANSWERS... these answers are apparently not for connexus because my quick check/test only has five questions.
