How is constructing a perpendicular bisector similar to constructing an angle bisector's? How is it different?

17.)Consulting a perpendicular bisector and constructing angle bisector are similar because they both need to find where the arcs meet. They are different because a perpendicular bisector splits a segment into two congruent segments and an angle bisector splits an angle into two congruent angles.
18.) First, open the compass to have the length of AB. Then, you put the compass at point A and draw a arcs. After that, put the compass at point B and draw a arcs to intersect them at X and Y then connect.
