Let f(x)=2x^2+x-3 and g(x)=x-1. Perform the indicated operation then find the domain. (f*g)(x)

a.2x^3-x^2-4x+3; domain:all real numbers
b.2x^3+x^2-3x; domain: all real numbers
c.2x^3+x^2+4x-3; domain: negative real numbers
d.2x^3+x-3x+3; domain: positive real numbers

Thanks you guys! Remember, it's only cheating if you're caught.

instead of the multiple choice answers, which i assume they switch around, here are the full answers

1. 2x²-2; domain: all real numbers
2. 2x³-x²-4x+3; domain: all real numbers
3. 2x+3; all real numbers except x=1
4. 8
5. 8
6.104
7. 4a²+4
8. 0
9. 2
10. 8

The answers to the quick check are below. (And if they don't match up, or you're just not sure, you can use mathway!)

1. D) x - 11
2. B) -3x + 9
3. C) -30x² + 28x - 6; all real numbers
4. D) x - 4; all real numbers except x ≠ -4
5. C) It doesn't matter which discount s applied first, the result is the same.

coronavirus is right

f(x) = 2x^2+x-3

g(x) = x - 1

(f*g)(x) = f(x)*g(x) = (2x^2 + x - 3)*(x - 1)
= 2x^3 + x^2 - 3x - 2x^2 - x + 3
= 2x^3 - x^2 - 4x + 3

All real numbers can be plugged into this function, so its domain is that of all real numbers.

And I'm just gonna put the answers I had for the practice as well.

1. D) 2x^2 - 2; domain: all real numbers
2. A) 2x^3 - x^2 - 4x + 3; domain: all real numbers
3. A) 12x^2 + 2
4. D) x - 6
5. B) 8
6. D) 104
7. D) 4a^2 + 4
8. A) 0
9. C) 2
10. B) 8

Thank you so much Sus for putting the answers instead of the letters. All are 100% correct!!!!

3 is actually 12x^2+2 and 4 is actually x-6.
