..."that Library where every book shall lie open to one another..."

Which of these is the best interpretation of this phrase from John Donne's Meditation 17?

A:It is a description of Death***
B:It is a description of God
C:It is a description of Hell
D:It is a description of Heaven

Is this correct?

I'm confused in sorts....I still think it is death...God has in a sense decided the terms of each death. As universal author, God will bind together these various “translated” pages, each man a chapter, into a volume which is open to all. In the new universal “library” of mankind, “every book shall lie open to one another.......( My comment here.... So, He is the author of the book....and it describes the deaths....each person has their own chapter in the book.

Is the book the volume of all the people?

Thank you!...This was very confusing to me. I truly appreciated your help!

You’re welcome!

It is heaven... only when all hearts are open to be read like a book will we overcome our differences and the impediments of age sickness etc and become one with each other... this is the desire oftgw Divine and is the kingdom of heaven

seems to B is a better response. Who wrote the books? And why?

Could be.

As therefore the bell that rings to a sermon calls not upon the preacher only, but upon the congregation to come, so this bell calls us all ...

The question revolves around how you are interpreting "that library."

What is "that library"? Where is it? Whose is it?

God is the Library.....Heaven.....God's book. So, B: description of God?
