Amount = 4000 + 960 = 4960
Amount at the end of 3 years =   \$4960
b)  Formula for Rate , R =  100I/(PT)
Where I = Interest = 960, P = Principal = 4000, T= Time = 3 years
R =  (100 × 960) / ( 4000 × 3)
R =  8
Rate, R = 8% per annum.
c) If the rate was 1% more, R = 8 + 1 = 9% per annum
Interest, I =  PRT/100
Interest, I =   4000 × 9 × 3 /100 = 1080
Amount in her account would have been = \$4000 + \$1080 = \$5080
Amount more = \$5080 - \$4960 = \$120
She would have had \$120 more should the rate were 1% greater

7. The graph shows a zero slope since the equation of this graph is y = 4. No matter what the input is, it will just give you the same output. The input doesn't really give a care to the output because the output is just the same all through out.

So, for part one: Math 7 B Unit 3: Patterns and Rules Lesson 7: Compound Interest, the answers are below :)

4. B-- Dots go at an upwards angle starting at one, and go to right above 4

7. So, this question hasn't been graded yet, but I researched it and used Brainly and I wrote "No matter what input you put into the graph, it will be the same as the output because there is no slope." MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE IT SO YOU DONT CAUGHT! Also, if you don't understand I don't know how to explain so you can google it if you need too :)
