R, S, and T are the vertices of one triangle. E, F, and D are the vertices of another triangle. m<R = 60°, m<S = 80°, m<F = 60°, m<D = 40°,?

RS = 4, and EF = 4. Are the two angles congruent? If yes, explain how and identify which segment is congruent to RT.

My answer is yes by ASA

R , S, and T are the vertices of one triangle. E, F, and D are the vertices of another triangle. mangleR = 60, mangleS = 80, mangleF = 60, mangleD = 40, RS = 4, and EF = 4. Are the two triangles congruent? If yes, explain and tell which segment is congruent to modifying above R T with bar.
A. yes, by ASA;FD

Find the value of x. The diagram is not to scale.
A.14

What additional information will allow you to prove the triangles congruent by the HL Theorem?
C. AC = DC

All equilateral triangles are also isosceles.
A. True

In an isosceles triangle with two congruent sides, the angles across from the legs are called ________ angles.
base

Your teacher will grade your responses to questions 6–9 to ensure that you receive proper credit for your answers.
Supply the missing reasons to complete the proof. (Triangles QRP & SRT)
#3 ∠Q ≡ ∠T (Same Angle)
QR ≡ TR (Equal side)
∠PRQ ≡ ∠SRT (Same Angle)
This comply to the property of ASA
#4Since all the corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent (CPCTC)
It proves that that PR ≡ SR

(Triangles SDH & SDT)
#2 90 degrees
#3 Given
#4 SD=DS
#5 Congruent by HL theorem

How are the angles of an equilateral triangle related?
If two of the angles of one triangle is equal to the two angles of another triangle then the triangle is said to be similar.

How does the length of the hypotenuse in a right triangle compare to the lengths of the legs?
The length of the hypotenuse squared is the length of one leg squared plus the length of another leg squared.

Explain how proving two triangles congruent can help prove parts of the triangle congruent.
If two angles and the included side of one triangle are equal to two angles and included side of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent. Angle-side-angle is a rule used to prove whether a given set of triangles are congruent.

real help<3 is 100% CORECT

It does have 10 questions, but 6-10 are short answer questions.

clearly the angles are equal

and immediately we can say that they are similar.

I used to insist that my students write the triangles in such a way that the vertices correspond in order.
so
triangle RST is similar to
triangle FED

notice that way angle S = angle E , etc

since RS = 4 = EF
they are congruent because of ASA , (angle-side-angle)
