The figure shown is a rectangle. the green shape in the figure is a square. The blue and white figures are rectangles, and the area of the blue rectangle is 24 square inches. a. write an expression for the area of the entire figure that includes an exponent. Then find the area. b. Find the dimensions of the entire figure.

For a.

Expression:(2 in. x 6in.)+ 24in squared + (6 in. x 6 in.)
Area: 12 in squared + 24 in squared + 36 in squared is 72 in. squared
On the diagram, it already shows you the dimensions for the white rectangle which is 2 and 6. Multiply length x width is 12 in squared. They gave you 24 in squared for the blue rectangle in the question. The green section is a square so all the sides are equal. It labels "6 in." for the length of the white rectangle which is the same length as the green square. A square has equal sides so, 6 in. x 6 in. is 36 in squared. All these all together:12 in squared + 24 in squared + 36 in squared is 72 in squared. Done! Good Luck!
b. 9 in. and 8 in.

I need exponents in my answer!?

Nobody's here you didn't help me at all it said EXPONENTS!!!!!!!!!!!! Ughhhh

I need help to

a)6^2+2ร—6+24=72 square inches

b)8 in. by 9 in.

Hope this helps

Just give answers I will never need math to be a clothing hanger lol

Can you like whoever answer the question above explain how you got the answer to part b because don't just give us the answer, everyone needs explanation so they can understand how to solve it in case it comes up on their test. Thank you!

your wrong according to my test

i hateeeeeeeeeee math ughhhhhhhhhhhh

Ughhhhhh don't understand math๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜“๐Ÿ˜ฟ๐Ÿ˜ฟ๐Ÿ˜ฟ๐Ÿ˜ฟ๐Ÿ˜ฟ
