Identify the precipitate in this reaction: calcium nitrate reacts with sodium phosphate.



2Na3PO4 + 3Ca(NO3)2--->6NaNO3 + Ca3(PO4)2

  1. Yes. & The precipitate would be Ca3(PO4)2. It's more difficult remembering what isn't soluble so you can figure that out by knowing that all Group 1A's and nitrates are soluble.
