The ratio of North American butterflies to South American butterflies is 5:3. The ratio to South American butterflies to European butterflies is 3:2. There are 30 North American butterflies at the butterfly park. Question A. How many South American butterflies are there? B. How many European butterflies are there? Please help answer both questions. Thx

NA : SA = 5 : 3 , SA : E = 3 : 2

So, NA : SA : E = 5 : 3 : 2 = 5x : 3x : 2x

given: NA = 30
5x = 30
x = 6

then NA = 30
SA = 18
E = 12
