What answer do you think it is? I'm not going to give you the answer but ill check it or give you some info.
They help decompose dead animals/plants to give nutrients to the plant(s) and soil.
R_scott just trying to help. Searching it to find other hepful info for his queston other than just a formula you gave him. That formula can be helpful but he/she needs to understand what their learning.
Tshaonline. org has some really good info for number 2. You can search your question and it should show their website. Hope this helps.
